Central Agencies SharePoint Operations
As Lead Developer in the Central Agencies Cluster's SharePoint shop, I was tasked with creating an operational overview system to onboard new sites, crawl and bill for existing sites, and feed all of the crawled information into a financial dashboard for analysis.
With intranets, extranets and SharePoint Online site collections all needing to be tracked, creating a cross-domain client-side crawler was a challenging feat. Leveraging PostMessaging, the SharePoint JSOM and SOAP APIs, and a Bootstrap framework, the system has been stable for over two fiscal years generating millions of dollars in revenue.
