Signet

Each of the Government of Ontario IT Clusters have their own set of procurement directives, all of which which boil down to getting approvals from a certain set of people. Signet is a system designed to make it incredibly easy to obtain approvals from these people.

Leading development on Signet was exciting, as I was given liberties in the design of the product. Building on top of SharePoint, I was able to make the approval process seamless, leveraging drag-and-drop components for reordering your "approval chain", having users include pictures, Nintex Workflows to handle the workflow components, jsPDF to dynamically generate PDFs, and much more.

Signet is anticipated to obtain approvals for hundreds of millions of dollars per fiscal.
