My first project as a Lead Developer with the Government of Ontario was called BinderBrowser. The idea behind the project was to transition the many committees in the Government from paper-based to entirely electronic.
This accessible SharePoint web application works online and offline, encrypting retained assets in the IndexedDB of a device. Users, including the Premier and Ministers of Ontario, can make annotations on their documents, export to PDF, and review all of their content.
With an estimated 1.5 million sheets of paper saved, adoption from dozens of committees, and multiple awards won, BinderBrowser has been a huge success.
